The Study - before and after

The new work that started in August and was supposed to take one day was finally finished on 28th September - I am NOT a happy customer of Strachan Furniture Makers. Obviously they weren't with me for that entire time, they just had to keep coming back to finish bits off, or put them right.  However, the study is now finished, and here are the 'before' and 'after' photos.

Sitting room - before & after

A bit more work is going on currently, and I have guiltily logged onto the blog to put another update onto it. The sitting room was finished some time ago - so here are the before and after pics:

The Front Garden

Well, my biggest 'work in progress' at the moment is the front garden.

Just to remind you, it started out like this:

I tried to make it semi-respectable:

And now Martin has put in all my paths.

And here's the view from above, now that I've dug it over.

Next, to plant the topiary...

The Back Garden

It's a bit much to call this a garden, more of a courtyard, but here is where I have been putting in some effort recently, not the house, so I thought, why not show you how far it's changed?
I've tried to match up before and after angles as far as possible, though it's not exact.

The Smallest Rooms

I'm trying to catch up on posting photos of my finished rooms, so here are the shower room and downstairs cloakroom.
